This is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1960 movie named, “Where the Boys Are” with a guest appearance being made by Connie Francis. There will be live bands playing from the 50’s and 60’s being played as well as a sand castle building contest and a classic car exhibit as all things that are part of this wonderful event. The movie will be shown on a enormous screen on the beach. So, live music, film, and other types of fun can be experienced at this exciting event that is occuring on May 29th and continues all day starting at 11:30 in the morning.
For art lovers go to the Gallery 101 to see the special exhibit of For Art’s Sake! Birdwatch showing. It will have pieces pieces of art work in illustration and design that feature birds as primary and secondary subjects. This exhibit is to highlight some of the talented local artists in the area. This will be on Friday and Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
